I am a licensed Real Estate Broker and an employee of MBI Construction LLC. I specialize in new construction and do most of my business in Meriden.

MBI is bringing back a program which I would like to explain to you. We are willing to take your house in trade for one of our newly constructed homes or a new home to be built on one of our lots. We have a new home listed in Meriden located at 292 Edgemark Acres currently priced at $375,000. I will use this home as an example to explain how the program works.

You must have a home, approved by MBI, which you would like to trade in for a new home.
I will come out and do a CMA on your home.
The value of the home must come in at least 1/3 lower than the price of our listing. At $375,000, that would mean your home cannot be worth more than $250,000.
From that price, MBI will subtract a 6% listing fee, which you would have paid if you sold your home through a Realtor. MBI will also subtract a $1,000 administrative fee and local and state conveyance tax.
If you are currently working with another Realtor, MBI will work with that Realtor on this program.
